MNL match banned and fined 200,000 kyats each teams

Therefore, the Myanmar Football Federation, According to Article 6 of the MNL Regulations 2020, Article 2 of the Rules of Procedure prohibits entry into the nearest two matches and  a fine of 200,000 kyats each.

Ayeyawady United won Yadanarbon FC 3-2 in Week-14 of MPT Myanmar National League (MNL) 2020 at the Yangon United Sports Complex yesterday. The goals for Ayeyawady United were scored by Success at 16th, 53rd and 72nd minutes, and the goals for Yadanarbon FC were scored by Win Naing Soe at 12th and 48th minute. On the same day, ISPE FC tied with Southern Myanmar FC 0-0 at Thuwunna Stadium.After yesterday’s matches, Ayeyawady United is in the second place of standing table earning 30 points from nine wins, three draws and no loss. Currently, Hantharwady United is at the top of the standing table with 30 points.

Ayeyawady United will play against ISPE on 12 September, and Yadanarbon FC will compete against Rakhine United on 11 September. The Ayeyarwady Foundation through the foundation chairman U Zaw Zaw, who is also the president of the Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) donated US$1 million for the upcoming COVID-19 prevention and combatting processes, according to the foundation. The cash donation will be used to build temporary treatment centre which will be next to the National Football Academyin Yangon.
The centre can accommodate up to 416 COVID patients and will be managed by the Ministry of Health and Sports. The centre will be fully air-conditioned and the Ayeyawady foundation will donate all the fund required for the whole infrastructure, logistics, and supplies.

“We will accommodate patients at this new centre, starting from Sunday (20 September 2020). The pandemic has changed a lot of things within months as it is an unexpected crisis for all of us,” said U Zaw Zaw, MFF president and Ayeyarwady Foundation chairman. The second wave of the pandemic make sour country to reach in a difficult time. It is a massive challenge for us. I have decided to help my country with all-out effort as a person in football and also a person in social activities,” the MFF president added. The foundation Chairman U Zaw Zaw has been closely supervising the setting up of 416-bed temporary treatment centre to be completed in time. Healthcare services will be provided by a team of 100 members which includes healthcare professionals, pharmacists, and volunteers, according to the Ayeyarwady Foundation.

Ayeyawady United is currently standing in the first place after thirteen matches played with one loss and 33 points earned after the Week-15 games of the Myanmar National League, according to the statement with the MNL yesterday.

Following Ayeyawady United, Hantharwady United is standing in the second place with eleven wins, and two losses from thirteen matches played.The team took the place of former first place sitter Hantarwady United in this week with the same points but with goal differences.In the third place of the table former champion team, Yangon United has garnered 29 points after playing thirteen matches of nine wins, two draws and two losses.Next defending champions Shan United FC is sitting in the fourth place with earning 29 points of nine wins, two draws and two losses from thirteen matches played.Rakhine United is in the fifth place of the standing table with earning 17 points of five wins, two draws and six losses after thirteen matches played.In the meantime, Yadanarbon United is taking the sixth place position with 13 points of three wins, four draws and six losses after thirteen matches played. Ten teams are participating in the tourney, and Southern Myanmar FC is currently in the bottom place with no win.

The Myanmar National League (MNL) released its MPT MNL Week-16 Fixture that will take place on 15 and 16 September 2020, according to the league’s social media yesterday.On 15 September, Rakhine United will play against Hantharwady United at the Padonmar Stadium; Yadanarbon FC will take on Southern Myanmar FC at the Yangon United Sports Complex; Ayeyawady United FC and Sagaing United FC will play at the Thuwunna Stadium.
On 16 September, Shan United FC will take on Yangon United FC at the Thuwunna Stadium; Magwe FC and I.S.P.S FC will meet at the Yangon United Sports Complex.

All of the matches will be played behind closed doors at 3:30 pm of respective dates. Yangon United FC celebrated a sweet victory by defeating Southern Myanmar FC 3-0 with the goals of Kyi Lin, Mg Mg Lwin, and Emmanuel yesterday at Thuwunna stadium. Yesterday’s match was an important one for Yangon as the team is aiming to grab this year’s MNL trophy with four points lesser than the first place team Hantharwady. Head coach U Min Tun Lin’s Yangon United lined up with key players including Captain Kyi Lin, Ernest Aboubacar Congo, Mg Mg Win, Mg Mg Lwin and Emmanuel.

Meanwhile, head coach U Kyaw Min of Southern Myanmar used his favourite players Captain and keeper Pyae Phyo Aung, Aung Kyaw Htwe, Aung Khine Tun and Sai Zin Win. Yangon forced to play from the kickoff, and the team faced some difficulties to score as Southern Myanmar played with a tough defence. Nonetheless, Yangon achieved a penalty kick at 18 minutes as Southern Myanmar’s defenders played roughly in the opponents’ penalty area. The penalty was successfully shot to the right corner of the post by Yangon United captain Kyi Lin to grab the team’s first goal.After the first goal, Yangon United got nearly goal chances but Southern Myanmar keeper and defenders blocked and intercepted every attempt of the Yangon strikers. But Yangon got another leading goal at 44 minutes, and it was scored by free-kick star Mg Mg Lwin, and he made a superb free-kick to the right post of the Southern Myanmar goalie. The first half was led by Yangon with 2-0 ahead of Southern Myanmar. Southern Myanmar tried to get their consolation goals in the second half with an opening attack. But Yangon United shifted their massive play plus counterattack to secure their winning result. With a surprise pass, a third leading goal was found by Emmanuel at 60 minutes markwhen Kaung Htet Soe delivered the ball towards him. At the final whistle, Yangon managed to seal the 3-1 victory over Southern Myanmar. With the win, Yangon United earned 29 points after 13 plays, 9 wins, 2 draws, and 2 losses and the team is currently standing in third place while Southern Myanmar standing in the bottom with no win.

Defending champions Shan United secured a big 5-2 win over Magway FC thanks to Zin Min Tun’s hat-trick during their Myanmar National League Week-15 match played at Padonmar Stadium in Yangon on 11 September 2020. Hat-trick maker Zin Min Tun showed his best talent throughout the match while David Htan and Keith assisted the team and scored each goal for Shan’s victory.

Under the guidance of head coach U Aung Naing, defending champion used its best players including Captain Djawa Djedje Maximin, keeper Myo Min Latt, Zin Min Tun, Zwe Thet Paing, Set Pyo Wai and Yakubu Abubakar. In the meantime, head coach U Aung Zaw Myo’s Magway FC used all the local players including Captain Naing Naing Kyaw, keeper Soe Arkar, Win Moe Kyaw, Wai Phyo and Kyaw Thet Oo.
Magway FC spent their maximum energy from the start, but Shan United relied on their strategic play to reach their opponents.Zin Min Tun scored Shan United’s first goal even at 11 minutes. Next to the goal was his another goal and it was a second goal for Shan United at 15 minute mark. Ater 2-0, Magway FC made their action play to follow Shan United’s goals by opening their winger positions and forward. Though, the first half was ended with two goals led by defending champions.Second half initiated with a third goal for Shan United scored by hat-trick maker Zaw Min Tun at 46-minute mark. Magway FC got a consolation goal at 51 minutes, and the goal was scored by Magway star player Naing Naing Kyaw.With a stable play, Shan United did not stop their tempo and scored their fourth goal at 58 minutes. Again, Shan United’s foreign player Keith scored the team’s fourth goal at 83 minutes. A minute later, Magwe got another consolation goal scored by Pyay Moe at 84-minutes mark, and the result saw 5-3 win for Shan at the final whistle.

After completion of the Week-14 matches of the Myanmar National League 2020, Hantharwady United is still leading the standing table of the MNL despite the team faced 4-2 loss to defending champions Shan United last week.Though Hantharwady is in the first place of the MNL standing table, another three teams Ayeyawady United, Yangon United and defending champions Shan United are following closely to the leading team.
Currently, Hantharwady earns 30 points with 10 wins and two losses after 12 matches played.
Ayeyawady United is following the first-place team with the same points, but with differences in goals, nine matches won, three draws and no loss.

In the third place, Yangon United has 26 points, which is just four points difference with the first and second-placed teams.Yangon has won eight matches, lost two games and played two draws.
One more interesting point is defending champion Shan United is garnering the same point with the third, placed sitter Yangon with goals difference.Rakhine United is currently standing in the sixth place of the standing table with 17 points earned, five wins, two draws and five losses.In the meantime, Yadanarbon United is currently standing in the sixth place with ten points earned, two wins, four draws and six losses.
