Yangon United win over Rakhine United 4-0 in MNL

YANGON United won their Round 2 match of the Myanmar National League 2019 against Rakhine United by four goals yesterday in Yangon, their home stadium.The goals for Yangon were netted by Kaung Htet Soe, Miller, Sylla, and Than Paing.With speedy attacks, Yangon dominated the primary minutes of the first half and created some goal opportunities.Kaung Htet Soe scored the opening goal for Yangon United at 11 minutes, aided by an assist from Miller.Ten minutes later, Miller kicked a foul directly into internet , scoring the second goal for Yangon United.
The first half ended with Yangon United leading by two goals.With stable play, Yangon United retained their tempo within the last half , while Rakhine United put in additional efforts to equalize the result with a huge midfield, creating several chances.But, Yangon United managed to breach Rakhine United’s defence and scored again at the 78th minute. Striker Sylla scored the goal for Yangon, kicking the ball past the Rakhine United keeper.Ten minutes before the match ended, Yangon United’s Than Paing came in as substitute player and scored the ultimate goal at 90 minutes.
At the ultimate whistle, the score was 4-0 in favour of Yangon United. With the win, Yangon United are now leading the table, with 23 points from 12 matches played. The team will next play Shan United at the Taunggyi stadium on 23 June.

TWENTY-three outstanding players are selected for the Myanmar U-15 girls’ eleven , consistent with a press release released by the Myanmar Football Federation. Team Myanmar is preparing for the ASEAN Football Federation U-15 Girls’ Championship 2019 in Chonburi, Thailand.With the tourney scheduled to start out on 9 May, the squad was selected yesterday.
Three goalkeepers — Lucia Year, Yin Yin Moe Naing, and should Oo Khin — are selected for the tourney. Eight players, including Phyu Phwe, Mary Oo, Paing Phyo Hsu, Moe Pyae Pyae Maung, Khin Phone, Phyo Phyo Wai, and Khin Htay Kying are selected as defenders. The team will have eight midfielders — Htoo Theingi Naing, Aye Htet Htet Paing, Sandar Lin, Nan Cho Hmwe, Daisy Aung, Than Than Soe, Phyar Myar Moe Moe Ayg, and Kyal Sin.The forward line includes four star strikers: Zin Moe Pyae, Yu Ya Naing, Su Myat Noe, andWai Hnin Phyo. The team are going to be led by head coach Daw May Thu Tun, Daw Marlar Win and Daw Maw Maw War are going to be assistant coaches, and Daw Moe Moe War are going to be the goal coach, said a source with the MFF.

Myanmar’s national eleven will play Malaysia tonight at the Bukit Jalil Stadium in Kuala Lumpur during a decisive group stage match for the AFF Suzuki Cup 2018. Both teams are wanting to enter the semifinals of the tournament.Coach Antoine Hey said that team Myanmar is confident before the sport . The more people within the stadium, the higher it’s for everybody ,” he said.“I rested enough players to form sure we’ve everyone available for this game because we knew this is able to be the foremost important game. we’ve a full squad. My players are highly motivated. it’ll be very interesting due to things within the table,” he added.Malaysian head coach Tan Chen Hoe said Myanmar is among the simplest teams in ASEAN and remains leading the table. Myanmar can counter attack fast, and therefore the match are going to be worth watching, he said.

Myanmar national eleven beat Laos 3-1 within the group play of AFF Suzuki Cup 2018 Group (A) at New Laos National Stadium in Vientiane yesterday.Myanmar lined up with goalkeeper Kyaw Zin Htet, Thein Than Win, David Htan, Pyae Phyo Zaw, Zaw Min Tun, Hlaing Bo Bo, Lwin Moe Aung, Maung Maung Lwin, Than Htet Aung, Aee Soe and Aung Thu.Both teams played well by putting their utmost efforts and showing their dribbling skills from the beginning .Laos gained an excellent chance at the 14 minute mark and was finely finished by Phouthone Innalay.
That goal prodded Myanmar into action and equalized at 45 minute-mark by Myanmar star striker Aung Thu.The first half was ended with 1-1. within the last half , Myanmar changed their tactic with using the facility play.Taking advantage of Laos’ ragged defence line, Pyoe Wai Htet scored the second goal for Myanmar at 72 minute.The match intensified within the final minutes with Myanmar dominating. Again, Myanmar star Maung Maung Lwin scored the winning third goal for Myanmar by his brilliant efforts.The win gives Myanmar a complete of six points, tops within the table.

Myanmar and Viet Nam play match at the Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon.Myanmar lined up with Goalkeeper Kyaw Zin Htet, Zaw Min Htun,Nanda Kyaw, Soe Moe Kyaw, Win Moe Kyaw, Hlaing Bo Bo, Lwin Moe Aung, Htet Phyo Wai, Si Thu Aung, Maung Maung Lwin, and Aung Thu. Myanmar head coach is Antoine Hey.Both teams played energetically from the kickoff, and therefore the scoreless result indicates their defence lines were strong. Both teams went all bent score, but the indecision of the strikers cost them goals at yesterday’s match.Myanmar dominated the primary half, getting more goal chances than Viet Nam. Myanmar’s Aung Thu and Maung Maung Lwin’s passes and shots drove the crowds into a frenzy. Viet Nam returned the attack with speedy play, but Myanmar’s midfielders and defenders soured Viet Nam’s chances.The match became more exciting because the clock ticked closer to the top , with both teams trying to attain the opening goal.

Myanmar national U-23 men’s football squad will host qualifier matches for the Group-I of 2020 AFC U-23 Championship in Thuwunna Stadium from 22 March to 26 in 2019.The Qualifiers have divided the 44 participating teams into two zones of west with 24 teams east with 20 teams.The Group-I host Myanmar is within the east zone along side hosts Mongolia of Group-G, Cambodia of Group-H, Malaysia of Group-J and Viet Nam of Group-K.The 11 group winners and 4 best second-placed teams among all groups will qualify for the Finals. The 2020 Qualifiers are going to be held from 22 March to 26 in 2019.

Myanmar lined up with goalkeeper Zar Zar Myint, Ei Yadanar Phyo, Khin Than Wai, Wai Wai Aung, Khaing Thazin, Nge Nge Htwe, Win Theingi Tun, July Kyaw, Khin Mo Mo Tun and veteran strikers Khin Malar Tun and Khin Moe Wai.Myanmar was headed by its brilliant head coach U Win Thu Moe. Myanmar made the third goal at 60 minute and therefore the goal was scored by its veteran player Khin Moe Wai. MYANMAR Football Federation (MFF) announced a 29-member lineup made up for Myanmar national women’s football squad, which goes to require part in Asian first round qualification of Women’s Olympic Football Tournament. Nine managers and coaches also as 20 players were named on the roster. The lineup was made up counting on the team that participated in KBZ Bank Women League.Myanmar will need to host Asian first round qualification of Women’s Olympic Football Tournament from November 8 to 13. Myanmar women’s saw four wins within the first four matches and a loss to the last one.Myanmar women’s squad played a complete of 9 test matches with seven wins, one draw and one loss. Now Myanmar women’s squad is within the training in Yangon. Myanmar will need to host the Asian first round qualification of Women’s Olympic Football Tournament Tokyo 2020 at Thuwunna Stadium from 8 to 13 November.Myanmar women’s squad is within the same group along side Bangladesh, Nepal and India. Myanmar will play against Bangladesh on 8 November, Nepal on Martinmas and India on 13 November.

Myanmar is hosting the matches within the Group-F of first round qualification of the 2020 Asian U-19 Women Championship in Thuwunna Stadium.The first round qualification is to be held from 24 to twenty-eight October.Daw Thet Thet Win, head coach of Myanmar U-19 women’s football squad, said, “I believe that Myanmar U-19 women’s football squad are going to be ready to reach the second round qualification topping the Group-F.”The head coach added that Myanmar would play against the opponents’ teams within the group during a respectful manner which she hoped the players could show their best form with brilliant skill throughout the tournament.Iran won Lao with 4-1 within the debut of Group-F of the primary round qualification in Thuwunna Stadium on United Nations Day and is now at the highest on the standing table.

U Zaw Zaw, President of Myanmar Football Federation (MFF), who is currently visiting in Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia, held a cordial meeting with Mr Gianni Infantino, President of FIFA and focused on development of Myanma football arena after attending the opening ceremony of AFC’s new office in Kuala Lumpur on 30 October.U Zaw Zaw presented reports to Mr. Infantino on technical assistance and other necessary helps in an attempt to develop football standard in Myanmar. After hearing the reports, Mr Infantino agreed to supply necessary assistance on Myanma football arena.U Zaw Zaw and Mr Infantino mainly highlighted matters concerning youth development administration, national league and competition development, medicine , media and marketing development and technical assistance from FIFA.The president of the MFF and therefore the FIFA’s president usually hold cordial meetings in times of FIFA congress meetings and AFC ones. Present on the opening ceremony of AFC’s new office in Kuala Lumpur were Mr Gianni Infantino.
